Berkshire Brigades, the countywide Democratic Organization, came together in 2004 to elect John Kerry. During that campaign we (1) raised money, (2) held local rallies, (3) worked with local city and town Democratic Committees to send people to New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida, and (4) organized local and out-of-state phone calling and letter writing - in short, all the things required in a major campaign. And this year, with the stakes higher than ever, we are doing the same to elect Barack Obama and re-elect Senator Kerry, Congressman Olver, State Senator Downing, and State Representatives Dan Bosley, Chris Speranzo, Denis Guyer, and Smitty Pignatelli.
