protest respectfully
Here are some timely thoughts from MK Duffy, social media professional, passed along by Peggy Schjeldahl, co-chair of BDB.

We find ourselves today in incendiary times. Feelings are raw, people are scared, and some are even enraged.
While we will continue to gather for our rallies and voice our desire for a more just and equitable government and world, we urge everyone to exercise caution with signage and any interaction with agitators.
This is in no way meant to silence your passion or expression of that passion but rather to protect ourselves and the community at large. You are perfectly free to carry any sign you wish, but just be judicious and careful about images and wording. Currently there are massive protests and violence in Ireland, France, Nepal and now, the U.S. So we respectfully suggest avoiding words such as Zionist, Fascist, and any images of the recently deceased Charlie Kirk.
Continue to raise your voices, my friends, this will end at some point, and we want everyone to be on the other side of it, safe and sound.
